1. What is the name of your character and class? How did you hear about our guild? Why are you interested in joining us?
Nargle, Priest. Recruitment post on SH realm forum ‘looking for Priests’ a while back got me thinking. I love the guild name, and have seen you in the top list of SH guilds for a long time. Also, I’ve never seen you look for Pugs to fill out a raid. I’m looking to join because I want to raid more seriously.

Nope.
4. Tell us about yourself, interests, hobbies, etc.
I’m married with 2 kids, I’m a runner and I’m employed. So all of that only leaves room for one hobby…Warcraft of course.
5. What guilds have you previously been in and what were the reasons of leaving? Which raids have you seen and have experienced in Pre-BC, BC, and WotLK? I am currently in Omen, a 10-man friends and family type guild and have been since day 1. It’s not the greatest fit for me, but I do enjoy the company. These guys are not consistently serious about raiding and are just as happy gearing alts and farming mounts /pets etc. Summers tend to be so dead that we can’t often get a 10-man raid together many weeks. They are skilled, though we got stuck on Hex Lord in ZA (and ended up just farming Kara Badges instead of working on it) we also quit on Sarth+2 very early on. We are currently thru Iron Council, but have only raided one night a week since 3.1 dropped and it looks like it’s going to be zero this week. This is due to attendance, and lack of heals. Still, I’m honestly conflicted about leaving; I’ve been with them for a long time. On the other hand I’m very sick of pugging. All of my 25-man gear has been pugged and that is a huge time investment as those raids can take forever to get very little done and sometimes just fall apart and you waste your lock etc. I didn’t run 25’s in BC and found that I do enjoy them more than I though I would. I tend to just DPS them but even when I do heal, it’s not as crazy as I had imagined.
6. What is your spec (Include numbers please)? Why are you playing this spec? Are you experienced in different specs of your class?
I’m currently Dual Spec as Disc(57/14/0)/Shadow(13/0/58). Pretty much cookie cutter specs as I have messed around a lot and come to about the same conclusions. I am going to move a few points out of Improved Renew into Spell Warding, but other than that I’m happy with them. If anyone has specific questions about point allocation I’d be happy to answer them rather then going over everything here. I was Holy in BC, I’ve been mostly raiding Disc in WoTLK. I really prefer raid with Shadow as main spec, as I’ve healed so much over the last 2 years (Omen is always short on heals), but Disc has brought some fun back to healing and I’m happy to be flexible. I always have both Kits on me and the consumables to match.I know a hell of a lot about Priests, but not as much about other classes. At 70 I had a geared Shadow Priest alt, which is now abandoned due to Dual Specs.
7. Please describe your gear and insert a link to your armory page. If your gear on the armory is NOT the gear you wear to raids please inform us ahead of time. Please include your choice of enchants and gems. Armory Gear is currently Shadow. I’ll switch so you can see the healing kit later. I have a Greatness trinket (INT) for that set and more T7.5. It’s gemmed to stack Int, for progression especially since I was scared about regen in 3.1…..but it really hasn’t been as bad as I thought it would be so I’m starting to move back towards throughput. Cit>Haste on both sets. Both sets are also about equal in quality IMO. I’ve tended to balance what I roll on between them and really jump on anything that will work for both. I’m always gemmed, enchanted and hit capped.

8. Do you have any WWS reports from your raids we can take a look at? Please post links.
Nope sry. Though I assume you guys know about Disc Priests and healing meters ….because I abuse my shields as much as possible.
9. We are transitioning to raid 8:30 PM – 12:00 AM Eastern time/Server time. Mondays-Thursdays. The first one or two nights are devoted to farm content allowing two days or more allotted to Ulduar progression. Do these raid times fit your schedule?
Yes, midnight is a bit late but I tend to log off around 11-11:30 anyhow so I guess that’s not a huge difference.
10. DKP, never used it before. I think you revised the description since I last looked at it though, as it reads clearer and is easier to understand. Do you only get one bid or do you get another shot at it if you are outbid? Is the final bid posted? Because coming into it new it seems like it would be hard to know what kind of scale is normal etc.
